“The great things of God are beyond our control. Therein lies vast hope. Spontaneous expansion could fill the continents with the knowledge of Christ: our control cannot reach that far. We constantly complain about our limitations when there are open doors we have not entered; doors closed to us as foreign missionaries; fields white to the harvest which we cannot reap. Spontaneous expansion could enter open doors, force closed ones, and reap those white fields. Our control cannot. It can only appeal pitifully for more men to maintain control.”
Remember what Paul quoted from Isaiah 64:4, “But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”--” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Knowing God through intimacy with Him reveals to us more and more that He is capable of doing what we cannot. So if He promised that every nation (ethnos) will hear the gospel and be represented in heaven, then it will be so. Let’s walk with Him through the doors He opens!
