For the last two days we have looked at the character of God’s Word through the eyes of “the man after God’s own heart”, David. Now we go back over these verses (Psalm 19:7-11) and see what happens when they are applied to our lives. Take time to read over these slowly and as the Holy Spirit to make each one happen in you.
“The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple
The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever
The rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.
Moreover, by them is your servant warned
In keeping them there is great reward.” (Psalm 19:7–11).
Do not miss the impact these will have on you through personal application; to purify your mind and heart, to strengthen your faith, to protect you from unseen dangers, and to give you rewards NOW in your walk with the Lord.
