Knowing God’s Plan and the Master’s Promise, Paul became a master church builder. Notice how Paul describes this point; “According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:10–11). It is important to note the warning that goes along with the plan; “take care how he builds upon it”. There is only one foundation that God has laid. If we build on another foundation, we have failed before starting our work. The closer we follow Paul’s model – the biblical model, the more fruitful our work will be and the more glory the Father will receive.
Having established this premise, we will look at the Scriptures that show Paul’s missionary strategy in the next post as I list Scriptures for your consideration. Between now and tomorrow, I invite you to come before the Lord and ask Him to reveal your workmanship. Do you need to do some ‘deconstruction work’ (repentance) so that ‘reconstruction work’ can begin based on God’s Word?
